Flight is a universal delight. Using a water displacement system to create zero gravity, visitors were able to strap on large wings and lift themselves by maneuvering the wind generated from an array of industrial fans. A companion exhibit of sculptural flight rails was designed to simulate the landing pattern of a Red Hawk. Visitors traced the curvatures of the rails, which moved their bodies in a similar manner to that of a bird. Graphics highlighted migratory research, education and current legislation.
