Exhibition Design | Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration | Speculative Futures
Developed in collaboration with MIT, Studio Tomás Saraceno (Berlin), and Earth and Planetary Science researchers in Zurich, Aerocene presented a visionary, research-driven exploration of a borderless, fossil-fuel-free future. The exhibition translated crowd-sourced atmospheric data and speculative science into a physical, participatory environment. TRACE Design Group organized the exhibition as a modular system of geometric frames, allowing for multiple configurations and interpretive pathways. Each structure integrated scientific data, media, and original artwork, with fabrication and installation by Mystic Scenic Studios. The result was an immersive, future-oriented experience that invited visitors to consider how humanity might rise- collectively, imaginatively, and responsibly.
