Major Taylor smashed world records and battled racism to become a bicycling legend in the late 1800s to early 1900s. It’s time his story was told in his hometown of Worcester.

A flexible scrim system using pulleys creates a larger space for folks to gather and community events to happen. This open environment is complimented by graphic panels and touch screen monitors hung from cables along the walls. The centerpiece of the experience are the bicycles, one is an original training bike used by Major Taylor and the other an  interactive set of bikes which challenge visitors to virtually take a ride with Major Taylor and see how their time compares.
