High in the mountains above Park City, High West Distillery asked TRACE Design Group to shape a story rooted in whiskey, landscape, and legacy. Designed with a light touch to honor the prairie-style architecture, the exhibition carries the weight—and weather—of the West: Cor-Ten steel left to rust into time, ceilings of charred barrel staves, shelves of whiskey relics, and historic photographs glowing with memory. Words by Kurt Repanshek unfold like campfire stories, while the working distillery reveals the alchemy of grain, fire, and patience. Built with care and affection, this remains one of TRACE’s most beloved projects.
