TRACE Design Group developed a bicentennial exhibition for the Handel + Haydn Society within the Puvis de Chavannes Gallery, Boston Public Library. A 50-foot linear casework system organized a chronological narrative using historic instruments, archival artifacts, and interpretive graphics. Interactive audio software, developed in collaboration with MIT, enabled real-time subtraction of orchestral sections within recorded works, supported by a custom soundscape by Kezia Seminster. The installation translated principles of historically informed performance into an accessible, participatory listening experience linking musicology, collections, and public interpretation.
