Connecting Cultures

Biomuseo — Panama City, Panama

Exhibition Proposal | Civic Identity | Participatory Media
Architecture: Frank Gehry

Developed in collaboration with the Richard Lewis Media Group, this exhibition proposal for the Biomuseo celebrated Panama’s cultural diversity and its role as a global crossroads. Designed to foster connection and civic pride, the experience invited visitors to participate physically and intuitively. Using haptic media, visitors activated sculptural orbs by placing a hand on the surface—then joining hands with others. As connections formed, color, light, and imagery rippled across architectural elements, transforming individual gestures into a shared visual experience. The exhibition required no text or instruction; meaning emerged through participation. The result was a universal, wordless expression of interconnectivity—symbolic, human, and deeply communal.
