ART OF MONEY

Scoundrels, Rogues, and Heroes

The Art and History of Money — New Orleans

Exhibition Design | Economic Interpretation | Interactive Systems

TRACE Design Group developed an exhibition exploring the forces that shape money—its art, its power, and its consequences. Set within New Orleans’ vivid history of scoundrels, rogues, and unlikely heroes, the narrative traced the origins of banking alongside the evolving responsibilities of the Federal Reserve. Tensile fabric structures and layered visual systems created a dynamic environment for discovery. In collaboration with Boston Productions, interactive media and game-based experiences invited visitors to test economic balance, weigh policy decisions, and unleash disruption within complex financial systems. Hidden print and dimensional effects revealed unexpected layers—turning financial history into an experience of curiosity, risk, and revelation.
