INVERSA Leathers: PARIS FASHION WEEK

INVERSA — Paris Fashion Week

Exhibition Design | Sustainability | Material Ethics

Presented during Paris Fashion Week, this exhibition foregrounded leather made from invasive species—materials that actively restore ecosystems rather than deplete them. Designed to interrupt the language of luxury, the installation invited pause and curiosity, asking the fashion industry to reconsider material accountability. By placing the words invasive species alongside high-fashion objects, the exhibition created an opening for dialogue around INVERSA’s regenerative approach to design. The work framed sustainability not as sacrifice, but as innovation—provocative, beautiful, and necessary.

“If our audience pauses and asks why invasive species appear among luxury goods, we’ve created the opening for a larger conversation—and that is exactly the intention.”
