The Battery Wharf Maritime Museum and Harborwalk Panels
The Battery Wharf Maritime Museum celebrates Boston’s history through the use of storytelling. The stories are the stories of sailors, soldiers, bakers, lighthouse keepers, ferryboat captains and shipbuilders.
Lighting is central and uses color and special effects to create drama and moving imagery of water. A large iconic 37’ live oak timber anchors the exhibit and provides seating for the multi-use space.
The outdoor Harbor Walk panels have been called “the most beautiful and informative signage on Boston’s Waterfront.”
